B wie Baumpaten: Die Patenschaft ist ein ideales Geschenk. Dieses Geschenk hat eine Langzeitwirkung und schafft immer wieder Anlässe für gemeinsame Ausflüge in den neuen Wald. Als Baumpate erlebst Du das Wachsen und Entstehen eines ganzen Waldes. A wie "Aller Anfang ist schwer": Die ersten Jahre sind für die Bäume und den ganzen Wald sehr entscheidend. In den ersten Jahren ist sehr viel Pflege notwendig und ein gutes Wetter für das Anwachsen der jungen Setzlinge. Der Anfang eines Waldes ist das Schwerste. L wie Langzeitwirkung: Als Baumpate bist Du nicht nur für kurze Zeit sondern über Jahre beim Projekt dabei. Und selbst wenn Deine Patenschaft einmal beendet ist, weist Du ja wo der Wald steht, kennst die Anfänge und Entwicklungen des Waldes und es ist sicher ein Erleniss auch nach 10, 20 Jahren dort nocheinmal hinzufahren. D wie "Dolles Weihnachtsgeschenk": Es ist häufiog schwierig ein passendes, sinnvolles und schönes Geschenk zu finden. Mit einer Baumpatenschaft ist dies nun möglich: Es passt für alle, die gern mal draußen sind und ein Ziel haben wollen, es ist äußerst sinnvoll für Umwelt, Klima und Natur und es ist auch schön:. Die Urkunde, der jährliche Waldbrief - es gibt viel zu lesen und zu lernen. W wie Wald: Ein Wald ist mehr als ein paar Bäume. Im Laufe der Jahre wandelt sich der Boden, der Bewuchs, die Tier- udn Pflanzenwelt wird eben eine spezielle Waldwelt. Der Wald und gerade auch der Launbwald ist ein eigenes Biotop. Baumpaten werden dies im Laufe der Jahre miterleben. A wie Aller: Der neue Wald (der "baldwald") liegt nicht weit entfernt von der Aller, einem sich stark windenden ( in der Fachsprache mäandrierender) Fluß, der später bei Verden in die Weser mündet.L wie Laubwald: Bis auf einige hundert Lärchen (Nadelbäume, die im Winter aber ihre Nadeln verlieren) sind nur Laubbäume im neuen Wald gepflanzt worden: Linden, Eichen, Buchen, Ahorn. Damit wird es ein abwechslungsreicher und vielschichtiger Laubwald. D wie "Das wollen wir mal sehn!" Für alle Beteiligten ist es eines spannene und nicht vorhersehbae Geschichte. Wie der Wald wirklich mal wird werden wir erst noch erleben.

Some information for your tree sponsorship:

* For your tree sponsorship, a new forest with over 6,000 deciduous trees has been planted in Lower Saxony, Germany. The plantation is at the perimeter of the Lüneburg Heath, between the cities of Bremen and Hanover. As sponsor, you are entitled to know the precise location of the forest. Just send an e-mail to info@baldwald.de or write us a letter - we will then give you the Internet address indicating the precise position.

*Your sponsorship does not lead to any ownership rights or obligations! Sponsors obtain rights to visit and access the forest, rights to obtain information and take photographs. Sponsors must, however, observe the relevant regulations regarding access to the forest (direct access only on foot or by bicycle; parking facilities are approx. 1000 metres from the plantation) as well as all other relevant laws (forest and pathways ordinances and by-laws, environment regulations, water protection laws, etc.), e.g. dogs must be kept on a lead, no smoking or fires in the forest, tents and camping are forbidden,…

* You can mark your sponsored tree individually, discretely and in a way that does not affect the growth of the tree, e.g. by hanging on a small nameplate. You must, however, observe a minimum distance from a non-sponsored tree to the next sponsored tree within the row of planted trees. You are not entitled to demand any particular species or variety of tree or any particular position and/or tree size.

* You will have no claim to compensation if the plantation is totally destroyed due to force majeure (storm, natural disaster, fire, …). Sponsored trees that have to be removed in forest thinning measures (due at the earliest after 10 to 15 years) will not be replaced. Our goal is to maintain and preserve all patented trees for as long as possible.

* This sponsorship does not entitle you to any property rights. It cannot be entered in the land register; it cannot be transferred, bequeathed, sold or traded.

* An annual project/forest report will be issued by e-mail. Please notify us if you wish to receive this report, and also if you have any questions or suggestions regarding the project.
